In some cases, we may collect information from third parties where permitted by law, including Shopify, Recharge, payment providers, courier and logistics providers, marketing platforms, fraud prevention providers, social media platforms and analytics providers.
6. Shopify, Recharge, Payment and Technology Providers
Our Website operates using Shopify and we use Recharge to manage subscription services. These providers, and related technology providers, may collect, store or process personal information for the purpose of operating the Website, processing orders, managing subscriptions, processing payments, providing fraud prevention, maintaining website security, supporting marketing activity and improving customer experience.
GoodBuzz does not store complete credit card or debit card information on its own systems. Payment information is processed by secure third party payment providers.

GoodBuzz may use platforms such as Klaviyo, Shopify Email, and other marketing tools to manage these communications.
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or contacting us at info@goodbuzz.nz. Transactional and service related messages, such as order confirmations, delivery updates, subscription notices and customer service communications, may still be sent where necessary to provide Products or Services.
9. Cookies, Analytics and Advertising Technologies
GoodBuzz uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the Website, maintain shopping cart functionality, support checkout, remember customer preferences, analyse Website performance, measure marketing activity and deliver relevant advertising.

10. Competitions, Giveaways, Promotions and User Generated Content
If you participate in a competition, giveaway, prize draw, survey, sampling campaign or promotion, we may collect personal information needed to administer that activity. This may include your name, contact details, eligibility information, entry content, social media handle, delivery address, age confirmation where relevant, and any other information required by the applicable promotion terms.

Where personal information is disclosed to a recipient outside New Zealand, GoodBuzz will take reasonable steps to ensure that the overseas recipient is required to protect the information in a way that, overall, provides comparable safeguards to those in the Privacy Act 2020, or that another permitted exception applies.
By using the Website or providing personal information to GoodBuzz, you acknowledge that personal information may be processed by overseas service providers for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
13. Security of Personal Information
GoodBuzz takes reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, unauthorised disclosure, alteration or destruction.
Security measures may include access controls, password protection, secure payment processing, use of reputable service providers, staff access restrictions, system monitoring, secure storage and contractual protections with service providers.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. GoodBuzz cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted through the internet or stored electronically.
14. Data Retention
GoodBuzz retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, to operate our business, to comply with legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce agreements.

Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to request access to personal information GoodBuzz holds about you and to request correction of that information if it is inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or out of date.

If we do not agree to make a requested correction, you may ask us to attach a statement of correction to the relevant information, where required by law.

GoodBuzz may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, technology, business operations, marketing practices or service providers.
The current version of this Privacy Policy will be published on the Website. Continued use of the Website or Services after changes are published will be treated as acknowledgement of the updated Privacy Policy.
